This is perhaps *THE* scene that cemented me as a Trekkie. I was only ankle-deep into Trek when I saw “First Contact” on opening weekend in the theater. I had not even seen much of TNG or even “The Best of Both Worlds” yet.
I can still remember though returning from the restroom and standing in the back of the theater, watching this confrontation between Worf and Picard, and being in awe of it and the scene that followed. Much later I realized how much of an insult calling Worf a coward was, especially coming from Picard. At the time though, it was just the performance of the actors and the way you really believe Worf is barely holding himself back from truly ripping Picard apart that ended any choice I had in the matter of whether or not I was a Trekkie.
